A portable fire extinguisher is designed to be carried and operated manually by a single person — typically available in capacities of 1 Kg to 9 Kg. A trolley-mounted extinguisher is a larger, wheeled unit (25 Kg to 75 Kg or more) that requires two persons to operate and is used for large-area industrial fire suppression.
For server rooms and data centres, either a CO2 portable fire extinguisher (2 Kg, 3 Kg, or 4.5 Kg) or a Clean Agent portable fire extinguisher (2 Kg, 4 Kg, or 6 Kg) is recommended.
